Population by Country, Age, and Gender (1800–2100)
This dataset provides annual population estimates for 216 countries from 1800 to 2100, combining historical series and long-run demographic projections. It includes total population counts as well as consistent breakdowns by age groups (0–14, 15–64, 65+, 0–19, and 20+) and gender for each country over the entire period. The series is constructed by harmonizing historical census data with United Nations population projections. It enables a comprehensive long-term view of global demographic dynamics.
